Vin Diesel might have teased a possible Avatar role for himself in the future but it appears this isn't part of the franchise's plan for now.

Avatar producer Jon Landau has dismissed rumors that Vin Diesel will star in a future installment of the franchise.

The rumors that Diesel will star in an Avatar film began back in 2019 when the Fast and Furious actor posted a video of himself and director James Cameron on the Avatar set.

Unfortunately, with Cameron at the helm of the Avatar series, it is highly unlikely we'll see the two of them work on a different project anytime soon. 

But, hey, while a starring role is not on the table, Diesel might join a future Avatar film for a cameo or two.
