All aboard the hype train folks, it appears that Konami hasn't fully outsourced the entirety of the Silent Hill franchise to third-party developers.

According to listings, Silent Hill: The Short Message is a game developed and publisher by Konami.

Silent Hill: The Short Message was previously speculated as a potential free-to-play demo of the upcoming remake of Silent Hill 2.

However, recent sources make us believe that it's a separate game for the PlayStation 5.

The Short Message might even be the same game Masahiro Ito was working on that leaked earlier this year.

Until Konami announces what The Short Message is, all we're left to do is to speculate but it all feels like it's only a matter of time.
