The Call of Duty franchise has etched its place in the hearts of many generations of gamers by several means, one of which is its map design.

Now developer Infinity Ward is backtracking on their decision to remove the Shipment map from the pool of playable maps.

Infinity Ward has brought back both Shipment 24/7 and Tier 1 Shipment.

This means that fans can enjoy the close-quarters combat the reworked Shipment map gives for a little while longer. .

It'll be interesting to see what Activision Blizzard has in store for Modern Warfare 2 going forward.

For now, bringing back the two fan-favorite maps should buy the publisher a bit more time.
