James Gunn's final MCU outing will be out later this year.

After working with the cast of the Guardians of the Galaxy for a decade, the new co-CEO of Gunn would love to work with them again.

However, this is easier said than done.

For example, Robert Pattinson was cast as Batman since he'd never worked with the MCU in the past.

It's unlikely that one of the notable cast members of the Guardians of the Galaxy will jump ship and join the DCU.

Gunn's MCU swansong will be out in theaters on May 5.
