Experience is one essential resource in Minecraft for various reasons, especially when it comes to enchanting items and getting a high score after death. Since this is the case, players are always looking for quick and effective ways to grow experience orbs.
Fortunately, Minecraft’s community is incredibly innovative in its creation experience farms. Different forms of farming exist, but some are more stable and others are faster.
Depending on your needs and whether you need experience orbs quickly, some farms will be more helpful than others. The difference between a crop-based XP farm and something more direct like a mafia farm is pretty big if you’re looking for some fast XP.
There are too many XP farms to analyze all at once, but it’s wise to check out some of this year’s fastest options.

5) AFK Fish Farm
AFK fish farms have been around in Minecraft for a long time and are still a reasonable and effective way to gain experience. These farms generally don’t work well on certain servers and realms due to connection timeout issues, but they are great for single player or LAN gameplay.
The process allows players to continuously cast their lines and collect fish and treasure for experience, and they can be used automatically without player input.
Some Minecraft players prefer a more hands-on experience, but these farms are a great way to rack up lots of XP if you’re in a rush or need to get away from your device for a while.
4) Villagers’ trading farm
While Minecraft players probably know that they can get a lot of items by trading with villagers, there is also a way to gain experience quickly. Using easy trades, such as those of fletchers and blacksmiths, players can offer easily obtainable items and large number of emeralds in return.
Once players have their emeralds, they can go to a master level villager and purchase a large amount of Bottles o’ Enchanting, which can be used to receive XP orbs when broken.
While these bottles only provide a 3-11 experience when broken, if you buy a large number of them by collecting a large number of emeralds, you can gain a large amount of experience all at once simply by trading.
3) Blaze Farms
Since Blaze Rods are so useful in Minecraft for brewing potions or crafting Eyes of Ender, why not create flaming farms that will drop them while you’re at it?
They may not seem like it, but fires are excellent XP resources which can be killed quickly, with each fire dropping 10 experience points when killed by a player or tamed wolf. A simple blaze farm involves surrounding a blaze spawner in the Nether and activating pistons to crush fires as they fall into a hole.
This tactic takes some time and resources to set up, but will yield tons of experience and Blaze Rods in a short amount of time.
2) Farms of the guardian/oldest guardian
Guardians are significantly dangerous mobs in Minecraft, but are much less threatening when their ocean monuments are empty. This is difficult, but after draining a monument you can do one guardian farm for unlimited XP gains and a bunch of significantly rare items.
Guardians drop 10 experience points just like fires, but offer the benefit of a plethora of items such as prismarine shards, prismarine crystals, and fish.
Once the farm is finally functioning, it will work quickly to provide you with a ton of experience and items almost immediately after the project is complete. Some farm designs have also waived the need to drain an ocean monument of water, making them even more appealing to Minecraft players.
1) Sculk XP Farms
Sculk blocks were introduced in Minecraft’s 1.19 update alongside the deep dark biome, and they’re fantastic for experience generation. This is due to sculk catalyst blocks, which generate new sculk when a nearby creature with an XP value dies. Players can then harvest the sculk to collect the experience.
By using a standard mob tower design or surrounding a mob spawner block, it is possible to create a device that kills mobs quickly and generates a massive amount of sculk with just one catalyst block.
With the right farm, sculk can generate faster than you can mine it, creating a veritable gold mine of experience that can be easily mined when you need it.
