WWE SmackDown kicked off with The Bloodline backstage and Sami Zayn Jey told Uso it was all hands on deck because Roman wasn’t there and they had the opening game. Sami asked Jey to watch his match against The Brawling Brutes before heading out.
WWE SmackDown Results (October 28, 2022): Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa vs. Butch & Ridge Holland
Butch and Sami kicked off the match and Zayn was sent out early before Sikoa knocked out Butch from behind. A distraction from The Usos allowed Solo and Zayn to maintain control. Sikoa hit a spinebuster before Zayn was tapped back into it.
Butch tried for the cloverleaf, but the Usos broke it out before Sami tried for the Helluva Kick but missed. Zayn was downstairs and Jey dragged him out before he and Sami got into an argument.
Solo tried to stop Sami and Jey Uso from arguing before Ridge Holland wiped out Solo and Jey in ringside. Sami rolled back into the ring, but was immediately rolled up for the three count.
Result: Butch & Ridge Holland def. Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa

Sami and Jey were at each other’s throats as Jimmy and Solo tried to calm them down, but to no avail. Roman Reigns himself came out to settle the matter and told them that if they fought like children, Roman should treat them like children.
Sami tried to offer Jey a truce and a handshake, but Jey wasn’t in for it. Jey said he didn’t like Sami and didn’t want him with his family. Sami said he wanted peace and Jey replied that he didn’t care what Sami or Roman wanted, he just wants Sami to leave.
Roman was furious and said that if things continue like this, he should make Sami a full-time Uso and call him “Sami Uso.”
Maximum Male Models vs. New Day on SmackDown
New Day immediately took control of the match and Woods got things started before tapping Kofi in. Kofi cleared the ring before disengaging the ring. Mansoor and Mace tried to get involved from ringside, but Woods knocked him out. Woods and Kingston set up Mansoor for the Midnight Hour and had a chance to win.
Result: New Day final. Maximum Male Models on SmackDown

Sony Deville was backstage and Liv Morgan attacked her and got into a fight before officials came out to break them up.
Ronda Rousey was next, calling for an open challenge. Emma made her return to WWE after five years and answered the challenge.
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Emma – SmackDown Women’s Title Match
Ronda took control early on and was eliminated before attempting to lock up Emma. The latter rolled out of the ring and Rousey followed her out before tossing her up the steel stairs.
Rousey went for a kick to the steel, but Emma dodged it. The former IMPACT star tried to hold on before getting a crossbody for a near fall. Rousey came back with a knee strike before trying some grabs.
Ronda tried to hold on to the apron before going to the ankle lock in the ring. Emma rolled on to break the hold before getting a barrow suplex and a running elbow. Rousey poked her in the eye and got the Piper’s Pit before taking the win.
Result: Ronda defeats Rousey. Emma retains SmackDown Women’s Title

Shayna Baszler and Rousey were backstage after the game. Natalya walked up to them to say something, but Shayna Baszler wasn’t interested and started strangling Natalya from behind and knocking her out.
Jey Uso was backstage trying to explain to Paul Heyman that Logan Paul knocked him out last week before he could even figure out what was going on. He asked Heyman if he supported Roman and Heyman said he did.
Legado Del Fantasma vs. Hit Row & Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown
Legado Del Fantasma was the first to be eliminated and Hit Row equalized Shinsuke Nakamura. A brawl broke out before the match and Hit Row and Shinsuke knocked out the Legado one by one before B-Fab knocked out Zelina with a big kick.
The match got underway shortly after, and Adonis was isolated early in the corner of the Legado. Wade Barrett made an “Elon Musk bought Twitter” joke before Shinsuke was tagged and got into a brawl with Santos Escobar.
Top Dolla went to the top rope and hit a big move before Nakamura came in and hit one of the Legado members with the Kinshasa and took the win.
Result: Hit Row & Shinsuke defeats Nakamura. Legado Del Fantasma on SmackDown

Backstage, Heyman asked Roman Reigns to watch a video showing Logan Paul’s training. They were setting up a “lucky punch” angle and Heyman was worried Logan would knock out Roman because he had metal pins in his hands from a previous surgery.
LA Knight chased backstage and Ricochet came out to confront him.
Karrion Kross vs. Madcap Moss on SmackDown
Karrion Kross was back from his trip to the hospital and ready to get back in the ring. Moss got some big moves early in the game, but Kross came back with a big boot in the corner and sent Moss out before we headed for a break.
Back on SmackDown, Kross got an armbar, but it was broken. A distraction from Scarlett saw Kross hit a quick suplex and some punches to the back of the neck before taking the easy win.
Result: Karrion defeats Kross. Madcap Moss on SmackDown
Kross locked up the Kross jacket on Madcap after the match and knocked him out before calling Drew McIntyre and calling him a coward and a hypocrite.

Rey Mysterio was backstage and Imperium attacked him and Gunther landed a devastating heel before running away.
Bray Wyatt was next and said that this was him as a man and that he was no longer hiding behind a mask. He said he was here to do great things and sometimes he loses control of himself.
Wyatt said he didn’t care if he did terrible things until another figure appeared on the titantron. They said they were the ghost of the “man who sold the world” and said Bray would never be able to hide from him.
The character called himself Wyatt’s uncle and said hello before SmackDown went off the air.

We got a big reveal from Bray Wyatt in the closing minutes of the show, while Rousey got a title defense. Emma returned to WWE while Shinsuk joined Hit Row for a match on SmackDown.
