Hummus, 40 minutes agoMaybe it’s because Mediatek can’t supply enough chips for the global market. No, due to lack of interest from OEMs.

Specs aside, waiting to see if it overheats is all that matters
Benchmarks and heat test. Overheating and throttling is what killed Exynos. No wonder the Scamsung S23 series is no longer launched with scrapynos chips. Mediatek I have hot eyes on you

That’s a tough boy.
I wonder if QC will hit back.

In the end, it doesn’t matter to be the first if you fail.

Anonymous, 1 hour agoQualcomm currently has a deal with Microsoft over the windows on arm platform. That is… Lakedoesn’t have to be Windows, actually I might not even consider Windows on Arm.
Chrome OS is good enough for laptops. I would definitely want Windows on desktops.

RealLifePhones, 1 hour agothey released 8000 & 8100 last year and will release 8200 this year which would make 9100… LakeI really hope the D8200 will also have immortalis-G915.
Maybe with 5 cores (compared to 11 cores on the D9200).
These are sure to “kill” Snapdragon’s mid-end gaming market.

Anon95, 2 hours agoI thought it was coming out next month? Unless that’s the global launch.Saw a few leaks on Weibo this month but of course these are only leaks so it’s not definitive. Anyway, even if it launches this month, it might not be available for sale to the public until 7-10 days after launch, which is quite common for Chinese flagship launches.

“The second breakthrough is in the graphics department where we have the ARM Immortalis-G715 GPU with hardware-based ray tracing engine – another first in the industry.”
Wasn’t the current flagship exynos with AMD GPU on the S22 series, which was the first to offer hardware-based ray tracing?
