5 most satisfying things to do in Minecraft

Minecraft is a game about freedom, and some ventures are extremely satisfying. A few activities in the game provide quite a dopamine rush when performed.

From collecting resources to completing a huge construction project, there are many satisfying activities in Mojang’s sandbox title. These ventures can be somewhat subjective, but many community players agree on a few points, at least according to social media and the comments of notable content creators.

Every player in Minecraft is different, but many cannot deny the overall satisfaction of certain activities.

While it would be impossible to list all the satisfying acts in the game, it wouldn’t hurt to check out a few. If players haven’t tried the following things yet, they are well worth checking out.

1) Finding Rare Enchanted Loot

Several structures in Minecraft provide loot chests from which players can loot items, but the loot is random. This means that when players open a chest and find a collection of high-value items, such as enchanted armor, diamonds or enchanted books, there is cause for celebration.

Recovering in particular is an enchantment that players often like to find. Discovering multiple enchanted books with Mending is an absolute joy.

2) Complete a Redstone Machine

Redstone machines in Minecraft can be fairly simple or unfathomably complex. However, there aren’t many feelings better than seeing someone’s automated creation work as intended.

If the Redstone machine starts working correctly on the first try, it’s an even better rush than getting it to work after a lot of trial and error.

Redstone machinations can take quite some time to figure out. But once an automated creation works and pays off, it’s hard not to be incredibly pleased.

3) Play during the C418 theme

German-based musician C418 composed much of Minecraft’s early music dating back to 2009. If players have been enjoying the game for quite some time, there is no doubt that they are a part of iconic songs.

His song, simply called “Minecraft”, is a soft and relaxing tune that just feels perfect in-game no matter what you do.

It’s hard not to feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction watching your world as one of C418’s songs starts spinning.

4) Mining with efficiency and fortune spells

Mining can be quite a tedious task in Minecraft. It requires players to break block after block of stone. Sometimes they are lucky and find mineral ores.

However, mines with enchantments like Fortune and efficiency can make the process much more rewarding. Efficiency allows players to mine at higher speeds. Meanwhile, Fortune gives them more items when they break an ore block.

These enchantments allow players to mine faster and gain more vital items such as diamonds, raw ore, and resources such as lapis lazuli and redstone.

When players put hours and hours into their world, they sometimes lose sight of how much they’ve accomplished.

For this reason, it’s not a bad idea for players to take a moment to stare at their builds and all the work they’ve done so far. Whether they’ve finished building a mega build or just put the finishing touches to their first survival abode, it never hurts for them to stare at their work and be happy with what they’ve done.

Minecraft is a game that focuses heavily on creative expression, so it’s always great to enjoy what you’ve created from time to time.
